Common roadside beauty
A weed to most
Overlooked, unnoticed
Except for a brief splash of color
Up close its beauty is
Not to be outdone
Do we often bother enough
To look closely at those around us
To seek their beauty?
All that comes before us
Has something to offer
As a part of God's creation
